Political power is not just the power to be in government and to make laws and policy. It is about influencing society as a whole and in particular other political parties.

Addressing voter's concerns by offering alternatives

Under the reign of Liberalism the cartel of political parties would look the other way if certain phenomena ran counter to the dogma of radical egalitarianism. Parties would not be corrected by the voters, as voters were not offered policy alternatives. This was the situation before 2006 after the Fortuynists had destroyed themselves and before Geert Wilders formed his Freedom Party.

The level of Immigration

For instance, citizens concerned with the overwhelming numbers of immigrants coming to The Netherlands would not be able to express their concern through the ballot box. There was no party stating that immigration was a problem, and there was no party offering policy countering immigration.

The value of real opposition

With the election of the Freedom Party PVV to Dutch Parliament this has changed. The other parties have taken notice. The Liberal-Conservative VVD party is concerned about losing their voters to the PVV. To counter the threat they are copying a positions that the PVV has pioneered. However, they do this with a typical lack of conviction (Dutch). Perhaps they are testing the waters?

Giving the old right a right wing profile

The man who has to give the VVD a rightwinged profile again is Mr. Paul de Krom. Recently he took issue with a report by Minister Eduard van der Laan of Integration. Minister van der Laan presented to Parliament research by a thinktank of the Ministry of Justice, the WODC. This is the Research and Documentation Centre. The thinktank reported that the number of immigrants had fallen after 2001. After 2005 it rose again to a whopping 140.000 in 2008. This relative to a 16 million population.

This is mainly caused by labour migration from counties in Eastern Europe, whose citizens can enter without applying for a permit. The succesful policy against marriage migration from Turkey and Morocco is losing its effectiveness, particularly by Muslims finding brides from other Middle Eastern countries.

The thinktank says that the government has no real influence on the number of immigrants settling within the Dutch borders. And the Minister of Integration says that it will be impossible to integrate such numbers of immigrants.

Mr. De Krom said:

"The government is a restauration government. We are going back to the 90ies. Obviously nothing has been learned from Fortuyn".

The goal: assimilation of immigrant communities

Mr. De Krom has uttered other assimilationist remarks: closing Islamic schools, limiting benefits to migrants, no child support for polygamous families, no tax money to support pensions of immigrants, against influence of the Moroccan State on European politics, against the Burqa, calculating the expenses of the 2006 amnesty for asylum seekers, closing the borders to uneducated immigrants and outlawing the possibility of double nationality.

The goal of the VVD is assimilation. This is a departure of the Multiculturalist policy that all parties supported before 2001. The present centrist government is failing to defend the nation, despite the fact that it has inherited a toolbox of effective policies against migration.

The fact that other parties are adopting the rethoric of the Freedom Party shows the way to a new government coalition after the elections in 2010. Which would be the crown on Mr. Wilders' work since he left the VVD in 2006.

Belgium: the left and the right growing and splintering

Similar to what is happening in The Netherlands, to the North of Belgium, in politics the center is weakening and splinters are forming in the wings.

Belgium's communities

Belgium is devided in the Flemish North and the Walloon South. The Flemish speak Dutch, the Walloons speak French. Traditionally the country was Walloon dominated. Since the 1970ies the Flemish part has become economically dominant. But this is only very slowly translating into political gains for the Flemish. Increasingly however the Flemish are turning their backs on the Walloons. The Walloons have never been much interested in Flanders, apart from Flanders as a source of income transfers.

Sponging Wallons find a new sponge

This is evidenced by the dominance of the Socialist Party in Wallonia. The 19th century heavy industry has become a grave yard. The workers are laid off. Their unemployment benefits are unaffordable for Wallonia. Dynamic Flanders makes up the balance in the name of "solidarity". Socialist dominated Wallon society is never reformed and it has become a backward, socially and morally bankrupt rust belt.

The elections in Wallonia for the Wallons parliament saw gains at the expense of the Socialist Party by the Greens (Ecolo). The Wallons are voting for a new sponge with a different colour. It is still a sponge.

Dynamic Flemish inch towards the right

The Flemish nationalist Vlaams Belang of Filip DeWinter lost both in the European Parliament elections and the Flemish Parliament elections. Their voters were picked up by "Lijst DeDecker" and the "NV-A". They are both right-wing parties, expousing anti-socialist and Libertarian positions. They agree with Vlaams Belang on more autonomy for Flanders. However they are much more moderate with regards to immigration and Islamisation. The Flemish centrist parties were further weakened.

It will continue to be difficult to form governments in Belgium. The authority of government coalitions which can be put together will be low. The attitude of the Wallons voters seems unchanged. In Flanders the retreat of the Vlaams Belang is remarkable. It is the first retreat of the Vlaams Belang. It may be interpreted that under the influence of the world wide recession Flemish voters (Dutch) are more interested in economic issues than in issues of culture and identity.

Expelling criminal foreigners and public charges

Incredibly violent criminal foreigners

In the middle of April I blogged on the case of two Muslim brothers from Amsterdam-West. They had criminal records of more than 300 items. And no Dutch nationality. And had even forgotten to renew their permit to stay. In a sane world it would be obvious: expell the brothers.

Appeal, appeal!

However we live in a world of crazy ideologues. One of the brother immediately succesfully appealled the decision by the Immigration Service (IND). The other brother did the same and yesterday a judge (Dutch) decided in his favour. He is not yet saved though. He will get an extension of his stay and his permit will be reconsidered.

What does this mean?

Obviously this is nuts. They are public charges. These chaps are very violent. They have no conideration for the lives and property of other citizens. They are undisirables. They do not have Dutch nationality. So if the judge were to take into acoount the interests of Dutch citizens and the obvious fact that the brothers consider other citizens rights as non-existent it would be best to protect society by expelling the brothers.

And yet there is light

Realize that the police is throwing its weight behind having these criminals removed, in ADDITION to the efforts by the Immigration Service. The civil servants of the Immigration Service have often shown their willingness to revoke the permits of immigrants on grounds of principle. In fact one of the parlementarians of the Freedom Party (PVV), Sietze Fritsma, is originally from the Immigration Service and he was assisted by his former collegues in opposing plans by the government to grant "refugees" amnesty. That the Amsterdam police has now joined the Immigration Service shows that there is support amongst the Dutch Civil Service for the plans of the Freedom Party.

The perspective

If the Freedom Party will continue to grow and become part of a government coalition it may be possible to get its program passed. A moratorium on immigration and the expelling of foreign criminals. The Immigration Service already seems to be on their side and the police is coming over. Geert Wilders' plans are looking more and more realistic.

A fifth seat for the Freedom Party?

Will the Freedom Party be second?

Press agency ANP reported that Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) may get a fifth seat in the European Parliament (EP). It was widely reported that the PVV stood at 4 seats. But the latest results show more gains for the PVV.

The Christian-Democrats (CDA) still stand at 5 seats. If the PVV gets 5 seats they will be equally large as the CDA and they will be equal to what used to be the biggest Dutch party in the EU parliament. All the other Dutch parties will be smaller than the PVV in Europe.

This may serve as a constant reminder to all the Europhile politicians that there is a strong undercurrent of hostility to greater power to the EU and its institutions.

Voter turnout and legitimacy of the EP

The voter turnout was not impressive. In The Netherlands around 36-37 percent of those eligible to vote, did. This alone should make the legitimacy of the EP, which passes around 80 percent of all legislation of the EU member states, questionable.

Turkey's membership of the EU

The PVV will be able to voice its opposition to allowing Turkey in the EU. It is essential that this country be stopped. Membership of the EU would mean free access of Turkeys 70 million citizens to Europe's Housing and Labour markets. With Turkey's double digit unemployment this would mean a dangerous reinforcement of the existing Turkish and Muslim communities in Europe's towns and cities. Turkey would be the second biggest nation in the EU, measured by population.

Wilders has categorically stated that Turkey can not be a member of the EU. Because it is a Muslim country.

That message must continually be restated in the EP.

Election results come in earlier in The Netherlands than in other European countries.

The provisional election results have been calculated in The Netherlands. The Netherlands has 25 seats in the European Parliament (EP). It looks like the Christian Democrats (CDA) are number one. They stood at 7 seats and go to 5 seats. Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) is second. From zero (0) seats to 4 seats.

When Dutch commentators and pundits reflect on the soul of the Dutch nation, they will often use the parabel of the Minister and the Merchant. This is the "Koopman and the Dominee" parabel. On the one hand the Dutchman has always tried to project an image of stern Protestant rectitude. The Minister. On the other hand he REALLY wants to make money. The Merchant.

The Media as the Minister

In the pervailing climate of Political Correctness or Neo-Marxism it was the Minister who usually won out in the way the media reported from the multicultural frontlines. With the advent of the internet and readership of the dead tree media falling like a felled fir tree, the Merchant is in ascendance.

Today leftist newspaper "De Volkskrant" hawked a "More Morroccan Criminals in Rotterdam" story, which I used as one of the sources for my previous article. What is remarkable is the prominent place the article received in the paper version of the "De Volkskrant" today: frontpage in the upper left hand corner.

PC losing its grip as glasnost

As far as I know it is a first for "De Volkskrant". It is exemplary of where the media in The Netherlands are heading. The Soviet Union embarked on a policy of openess "glasnost" in 1985. This was meant to assist in reforming the Communist system. But the relaxing of censorship caused so many absurdities of the system to come to the fore, that the elite lost its faith in the ideology altogether and this spelled its doom withing less than a decade.

Non-discrimination as the highest principle

There is a remarkable correlation between crime and ethnic the origin of criminals. It is necessary for the elites of Western societies to see this and to steer society in a direction that strengthens society, rather than weakening it. However Liberalism is the orthodoxy of the West. According to Traditionalist Conservative Laurence Auster the highest principle of Liberalism is the principle of non-discrimination.

This principle non-discrimination inhibits researchers from being able to see the most obvious patterns.

The color of crime in Rotterdam

Dutch Criminologist Frank Bovenkerk yesterday published figures on Crime and Ethnicity for Rotterdam (Dutch). Amongst other things Mr. Frank Bovenkerk found that:
55 percent of Rotterdam males between 18 and 24 years of Moroccan origin (Dutch) was at one or more times suspect of a crime. Caribbean Black have 40 percent and Turks 36 percent. Ethnic Dutch of the same age group have a whopping 18 percent quote.

The scope of the snapshot

Professor Bovenkerk notes that these figures are conservative as they are annual 2007 figures. Only Rotterdam does statistics in this way. Mr. Bovenkerk combined figuers from the Central Statistical Service (CBS) with police data in order map suspects from the first and second generation of immigrants. Further data including ethnicity from other social services are added.

Repeat offenders

According to the professor 90 percent of the Moroccan criminals is a repeat offender. For ethnic Dutch this is 60 percent. It is expected that a similar pattern is found in other major Dutch cities.

Persistent Liberalism syndrome

In an interview with `De Volkskrant` Professor Bovenkerk astoundingly insist there is no connection between crime and ethnic origin of criminals. He is against seeing crime as caused by ethnic origin and uses the word `stereotyping` to tar this approach. Instead he sees a correlation betweeen social organisation and crime. The Turkish ethnic group has the strongest social cohesion and the lowest crime figures. Apart from the Ethnic Dutch.

Non-discrimination rules supreme

And Professor Bovenkerk goes further. He is against a law that would gather add data on ethnicity in the crime stats. `In trying criminals according to the penal code the principle of equality should be paramount` says the Professor who is leaving the Utrecht University as a Professor of Criminology.

Why do people join gangs?

Why do youngsters join gangs?

Randall Parker at Parapundit quotes a criminologist on the reasons why people join gangs:

Randall wonders whether this is evidence of innumeracy of gang members:

I'm reminded of a recent post where Razib brought up the term "alief" as distinct from "belief" and a discussion of aliefs. Is this feeling of safety a demonstration of an alief?

I think that people who join gangs are typically innumerate. But I think that people who are good with numbers will also want to join gangs if the circumstances encourage it.

Are gangbangers innumerate?

Being numerate will not stop people from joining gangs.

People who live in a violent neighbourhood feel frightened and not in control. By joining a gang and using group violence against others increases one´s perceived control. Join the doers, rather than being a lone object. The perceived control trumps any understanding of the risks of joining a violent gang. Control is rewarding in itself. So is being part of a group.

Masculine values encourage gang membership

Add that in many communities the ability to use violence is a positive value, connected to masculinity. This value may trump selfpreservation.

Add that wherever there are many young males, there will be competition through violence. It is only a bad thing when society is so out of control, that violence is used to take something that does not rightfully belong to the taker. Not to mention that it is nothing out of the ordinary to bring knives and guns to this violence.

So even if people understand that they are choosing a `deathstyle` the immediate reward of joining a gang is enough to compel people to do it.

Positive sides of forming gangs

Forming a gang may be the first step to forming a lawful militia, defending the interests of the community. Provided a given community has adherence to the law rather than anarchy in its patrimony.

The formation of youngsters into gangs is caused by ethnic diversity and insecurity caused by high incidence of violent crime. Rather than the innumeracy of prospective gang members.

To the voting booth

Went to the voting station early this morning. Cast my ballot for Barry Madlener the Freedom Party (PVV).

Before

When I got the vote I usually voted for the Liberals (VVD), something always gnawed at me. It must have been their lukewarm commitment to our country and our people. In the late nineties the VVD moved to the multicultural Left. First under Mr. Dijkstal and Mr. Rutte.

Now

It feels wholesome to have a political group that unabashedly represents the interests and the identity of the Dutch Nation in Europe.

WHITE MEN RULE 2

White men rule, Minister of the Interior does not

In early March this blog featured a story about quotas for women and minority candidates in the Dutch police. Dutch Parliament had asked for quotas to increase the number of women and minorities at the expense of white males. So the Minister of the Interior, Guusje ter Horst, insisted that a police district would not hire a male candidate. Instead a woman or a minority ought to be selected. The Minister had to back down after heavy pressure on the Minister from populist media.

Zeeland fights and emerges*

Something similar happened this week. The security apparatus of the province of Zeeland refused to accept a woman as their police chief (Korpschef). The proposed police woman (Dutch), Mrs. Rutte-Teuben was judged a lightweight by the commissions that had to appraise her.

The Zeeland securocrats insist on quality. The ratio of cases solved to crimes reported is slipping and they cannot afford to acquiesce in the appointment of a substandard candidate. So the need for quality has trumped the demand for equality.

The ardour of Parliament for quotas was doused

But there is better news. Dutch Parliament is so discouraged by the difficulties of finding good female and minority candidates, that they are giving up diversity management altogether. Parliament fears power struggles between the minister and the police hierarchy (Dutch). They are now calling for an end to the quota system and for merit based promotions.

The Fall of Constantinople

Today May 29 is the 556th anniversary of the Fall of Constantinople and the End of the Eastern Roman Empire.

Constantinople had been besieged by an Ottoman force under the command of Sultan Mehmed II. His force counted 80,000 troops. And they were opposed by 8,000 Byzantine Greeks and Italian Genoese. The last Emperor of Byzantium, Constantine XI, died in battle defending the City.

The Byzantine empire had been much weakend by the taking of the Balkans by the Ottomans. Moreover the Crusaders did damage to the City's defenses and the Blachernae neighbourhood when they took the City in 1204.

During his speech yesterday on Accounting Day Geert Wilders, who will be prosecuted for "Hate Speech" against Islam vowed to stick to his guns:

Chairman, I repeat: Islam is a totalitarian ideology, the number one threat to our Freedom. This government looks at the ceiling and wishes the problems will just leave of their own account. But I, I will not remain silent, nor falter. Not for a hundred thousand death threats, not for Al-Qaida, not for the Minister of Justice and certainly not for the political show trial which is awaiting me.

Mr. Geert Wilders is on a collision course with the Political, Bureaucratic and Judiciary elite. He has the power of his convictions and this makes it very difficult for his opponents to touch him.

Most observers are aware that the assault on Mr. Wilders only enhances his popularity and delegitimize those who try to damage him.

Even so, not everybody who opposes Islam in The Netherlands has the strength of conviction Mr. Wilders has. It will set a precedent if Mr. Wilders is convicted and goes to jail. It will become easier to punish others who critisize Islam. There is a long drive through the night ahead for those who love The Netherlands and Western Civilization.

The Dutch State accounts for some of its policies

Accounting Day: policies and financial reports

Yesterday 28 May was "accounting day" in the parliament of The Netherlands. This is the day that all departments publish their financial reports and relate them to their goals. The 2009 accounts relate each department's financial reports for 2008 related to their set goals in September 2007 on "Prinsjesdag".

The Elephant in the room

One report was conspicuous by its absence. The number one issue in the mind of the public is the state of the society as a result of post 1960ies mass-immigration. Since 2001 this issue has mesmerized the public.

The leader of the Freedom Party (PVV), Geert Wilders, remarked on this inexplicable state of affairs:

Chairman: this government does absolutely not account for the effects of mass immigration on the economy. The Dutch Central Statistics Office (CBS) calculates a 100 Billion Euro damages

The reports of the costs and damages of mass-immigration by the CBS which Mr. Wilders quoted were not part of any report by any department.

What has Wilders achieved here?

Mr. Wilders made an excellent point here. Dutch politicians and bureaucrats avoid real accountability like a plague. Political-Correctness was invented in an Orwellian attempt to obfuscate matters concerning Multiculturalism and mass-immigration. If Mr. Wilders presses this matter there will be considerable pressure from Dutch society on the political establishment to report truthfully on the extra costs and revenues generated by third world immigrants. And whether their balance is positive or negative.

Freedom Party grows in Amsterdam

Freedom Party increases share of the vote in Amsterdam

Amsterdam newspaper "Het Parool" reports that more and more people indicate that they will vote for Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) in the elections. This report was made in collaboration with the Research and Statistics Service (O + S) of the Municipality of Amsterdam.

More than doubling its share

A few months ago the Freedom Party polled at 3 percent. This has now become 7 percent. The fact that the Freedom Party is strengthening is especially significant, due to the overwhelmingly Left-Liberal profile of the electorate in Amsterdam. The Freedom Party especially polls well with well-educated voters.

Many groups are showing support for the Freedom Party

Remarkably it is not just Ethnic Whites who are switching to the Freedom Party. In addition to white working class voters from Red Bulwarks, Jews and Chinese are increasingly showing support for the Freedom Party.

Practical obstacles

In a reaction Hero Brinkman of the Freedom Party said that it is unclear whether the party will field any candidate in Amsterdam. He said there is a dearth of good people in their organisation in Amsterdam.

The dominant Amsterdam Labour Party (Dutch) reacted divided to the news. Influential members voiced opinions for and against future co-operation with the Freedom Party branch in Amsterdam. Another main Amsterdam party, the Liberal-Conservative VVD, reacted positively to the idea of future co-operation with the Freedom Party.

Wilders will definitely be prosecuted for Islam-criticism

Geert Wilders, leader of the anti-Islam party PVV, will definitely be prosecuted for inciting hatred against Muslims and Islam news agency ANP writes on Wednesday,

according to Dutch News.

Dutch economy contracts, vacancies drop

Gross Domestic Product (GDP)

Dutch GDP recorded the biggest drop since the Second World War. According to a quarterly report by the Dutch Statistics Office (CBS) Dutch GDP dropped by 2.8% in Q1 2009 compared to Q4 2008. This last quarter of 2008 saw negative growth, as well. On an annual basis Dutch GDP fell by a whopping 4.5 percent.

Dutch employment

The number of vacancies fell to 152,000, a 50,000 drop. The Netherlands has a 7.83 million labour force. Unemployment is now at 4.4 percent of the Labour force.

A leak at the Ministry of the Interior

A confidential report leaked stating that Interior Minister Guusje ter Horst wants to reduce the intake of aspiring policemen (Dutch). The policemen are necessary to keep the police force up to strength as many older cops are starting to retire in two years. The plan is supposed to achieve an cut of 190 million euros on the yearly police budget.

Opposition enraged

Opposition parties such as the Freedom Party (PVV) and the Socialist Party (SP) voiced their outrage about the plans.

One of the goals of the government is to reduce crime by 25 percent. Mayors and police chiefs of towns and cities warn that crime figure will show a significant impact due to the cuts.

Obstacles to immigration

Europe has seen various countries such as The Netherlands and Denmark creating obstacles to immigration. The obstacles are for instance in criteria in knowledge of the language or a minimum earnings treshold for a spouse in case of marriage migration.

Opposing the multi-ethnic society on principle

Premier Berlusconi of Italy has now opposed a multi-ethnic Italy on principle (HT View From the Right), saying:

Previous Left-wing governments had "opened the doors to clandestine migrants coming from other countries, with an idea of a multi-ethnic Italy," Mr Berlusconi said.

But that kind of society was "not our idea", he added, as he sought to reassure Italians who were alarmed at the number of immigrants pouring into the country, particularly from eastern Europe and Africa.

Premier Berlusconi's words were denounced by UN's refugee agency, Medecins Sans Frontieres, the Vatican and Italian opposition MPs, such as Giovanna Melandra.

Premier Berlusconi's new policy was hailed as a breaktrough by his coalition partners on the right, such as Umberto Bossi of the Lega Nord.

At the moment around 100 mosques are built in Europe every year. The mosque building accomodates the increasing feeling of religiousity amongst the Muslim communities in European nations. Descendants of immigrants from Islamic societies are setting themselves apart from surrounding society, by stressing differences in dress and appearance, diet, and by building centres of worship, where their teachings are hammered into the congegration.

Spare no Expense

In order to give this trend a material expression Muslim communities are prepared to reach deep in their collective pockets. If an average mosque costs 500.000 Euros, the Umma invests 50 million Euros annually in Mosque building.

Geert Wilders barred from future coalitions

Dutch voters are moving to the wings of the political spectrum

The next National Elections will be in late 2010. But there is already speculation about possible coalitions. This is due to the losses the governing parties are taking in the polls. On the Left the Socialist Party (SP) and on the Right Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) are making hay.

Ostracising the Freedom Party (PVV)

The Christian Union (CU) leader Mr. Rouvoet has declared he rules out a coalition with the Freedom Party (Dutch).

The Leftist populist SP had done the same. Mrs. Agnes Kant, its leader declared that the Freedom Party's program (Dutch) on lower taxes, abolution of the minimum wage and hostility to Islam rule it out for consideration in a future coalition.

Many prominent members of the Christian Democrat Party (CDA) are also demanding a declaration of no coalition with the Freedom Party.

The Belgian experience

This shows that the party system is really a cartel. Fundamentally all parties are Liberal. Non-discrimination against Non-Westerners is their highest principle. In neighbouring Belgium all the parties have linked up in a alliance against the Conservative Vlaams Belang (VB). This coalition goes under the name Cordon Sanitaire. This means that VB never governs. But also that a significant portion of the electorate will not be represented politically in a meaningful way. The demographic trends in the big cities in Amsterdam

This week the news came out that Rotterdam will have a Dutch minority by 2012. Foreigners defined as with one parent born outside The Netherlands will outnumber ethnic Dutchmen. moreover ethnic Dutchmen are on average older than foreigners.

The paper version of the "Amsterdams Stadsblad" today May 6th, reported that Amsterdam will be minority Dutch by December 2009. Mr Marcel Janssen of the Research and Statistics Service (Dienst O en S) of the Amsterdam Municipality calculated: of the three main groups: Dutchmen, Western foreigners and Non-Western-foreigners there will be 49.9; 15.1 and 35 percent respectively.

An Orthodox Calvinist Political Party in The Netherlands, the SGP, remains opposed to the building of mosques (Dutch), stated SGP chairman of the SGP Youth organisation Jan Kloosterman.

The Bible as their foundation

Mr. Kloosterman founded his party's opposition to mosque construction on the Holy Bible. The SGP sees the Scripture as it has been seen in the last 1,900 years, as stating a belief in human difference. The SGP has been out of step on this issue with most the rest of Dutch society for 30 years, without making a fuss about it. Due to the problems with Islam in Europe the party's ideas are gaining more attention than before. On the other hand the Calvinist churches which have many voters for the SGP are sometimes compared to Islam, because their ideas can be seen as Theocratic.

Should the State support the Church?

This can be illustrated by something Mr. Kloosterman said about closing the roughly 500 mosques in The Netherlands: "He thought the State should assist Churches to proselitize in areas that contain mosques".

Eurocommissar Viviane Reding calls for commissioning of Euro-Cyber Police

On April 27th Eurocommissar Viviane Reding called for the commissioning of a new arm of the Euro Bureaucracy. A Cyber Police, with a status equivalent to the European Foreign Affairs.

"Europe needs a "Mr. Cyber Security" as we have a "Mr. Foreign Affairs" ". A security Tsar with the authority to act immediately if a Cyber Attack is underway."

Mrs. Viviane Reding vowed to "keep fighting for this function to be established as soon as possible."

Attacker of the Queen of Holland dies

Joined in Death

The man who killed six bystanders and injured another thirteen died in hospital from his injuries today. 38 year old Karst Tates was still concious shortly after the attack. He told policemen he wanted to hit the Queen. He received his injuries when he drove through the throngs of bystanders and police barricades. Witnesses estimated his speed at 100 kilometers per hour.

The sad news was just released that a military policeman (Marechaussee) just died in hospital.

The death of the attacker fills the public with a feeling of unease. The public will never hear from the man's mouth why he committed an act of Evil.

Queensday parade attack

The Column with the Royal Family was nearly hit

A black Suzuki Swift rammed and killed several bystanders in an incident during the Queen's Day (Koninginnedag) parade in Apeldoorn. The vehicle drove through a crowd waving at the Royal Column. This happened at around 11:50 local time.

News media report that the vehicle was chauffeured by a 38 years old White Male.



The driver was arrested and is in hospital. The authorities say this is not at terrorist attack, but rather the work of a loner.

White people are racist, Minorities are not

At Gates of Vienna Baron Bodissey has a story about the fact that "the rules are different for white people."

White people are racist by definition

Accross the Western world the public is being indoctrinated with the message that:
1. all White people are Racist;
2. Non-Whites are not Racist;
3. Racism is Evil

And therefore it follows that only Non-White people are Good and have legitimacy.

However the statement: "Only white people are racist" is a racist statement itself. It is paradoxal. To the extend that Epimenides could not have improved upon it.

The chief benefactors of the "Whites are Evil" brainwashing

The real intend of the statement is to impose political norms on social relations of the general populations of Western Nations. It is a power grab by the elite. In 1984 George Orwell described the elite as a class: " "bureaucrats, scientists, technicians, trade-union organisers, publicity experts, sociologists, teachers, journalists and professional politicians", with their origins in "the salaried middle class and the upper grades of the working class"."

This is the New Class. The goals of the New Class are similar to the goals of the Left. Having said that almost all political parties support whatever the New Class comes up with, from Cultural Relativism, to MultiCulturalism, to Political Correctness.

The New Class engages in a power grab similar to what has been seen from totalitarian regimes, particularly the Communist ones. The policies that the New Class initiate follow from their ideology. The highest tenet of their ideology is the principle of non-discrimination. And their policies are a danger to Western Nations. The New Class elevates its class interest, New Class power, over the common interest. As there is hardly any meaningful opposition to the New Class that Western societies are severely endangered.

Finding a balance

For a healthy society it is necessary to limit the power of the New Class. In some European countries the power grab of the New Class is increasingly hampered by the original population rallying around their old Freedoms. Especially a Freedom of Speech. Populist movements like the Freedom Party in The Netherlands and the Danish People's Party have managed to grab the moral high ground from their indigenous New Classes by supporting Freedom of Speech. Under the protection of Freedom of Speech it can be pointed out that minorities generally behave in a racist way and moreover that the New Class itself is racist against the core of the Nation.

In The Netherlands the media are traditionally divided up between social groups such as liberals and religious groups. Since the 1960ies broadcasting organisations which are more or less solely commercial have been added.

A commission that develops Dutch Media policy (visitatiecommissie van de Nederlandse Publieke Omroep) has advised to expand the radio bandwidth for FunX. FunX (Dutch) is a subsidized radio station which broadcasts in the major cities, with large Muslim colonies. The radio station targets immigrant youth with their content and is popular amongst the target population.

The NPO commission argues that it is essential to increase the reach of the radio station, as it creates a channel to communicate with immigrant youth, while the current allocation does not cover demographic reality.

Media and the national state

Political Scientists have argued that the growth of the strength of the national state in the 19th century was possible due to the development of media which created a new, secular, language-based "imagined community".

Due to the fact that it is cheap and easy to start up new digital media, new media have been profilated since the 1960ies. As a result audiences are becoming more and more splintered. At the same time transnational elites have weakened the national state and allowed ethnically and culturally foreign colonies to settle in Western nations, especially in the urban areas.

Disintergration of society

Developing media especially for immigrant youth furthers this trend of societal disintergration and polarisation. It emphasizes the idea that the foreign youth are, well, foreign.

Criminal Foreigners probably not expelled

Labour Party Fraction Chair woman Manon van der Garde said today that the two youth gang members (Dutch) will not be expelled. Despite the fact that the two belong to a youth gang and committed countless crimes. Despite the fact they are not Dutch citizens. Despite the request by Amsterdam - West politician Marcouch and the Amsterdam police to remove them.

The two men sued the Dutch Immigration Service (IND) and one of them won. The other case is still pending.

Dutch judges seem to take the security of Dutch citizens and their property not into account.

Dutch Army Imam 2

The Imam who is to be appointed as an Army Imam will be äppointed despite objection of Parliamentarian opposition. According to a letter written by Deputy Defense Minister Jack de Vries this is what will happen. He thinks the Imam's opposition to the presence of Dutch troops in a Muslims land as not relevant.

Parliament will vote on the matter today. Opposition politicians of the Freedom Party (PVV), Christian Democrats (CDA) and the Christian Orthodox SGP are expected to contest the decision. They hold 74 seats in the 150 seat Parliament.

Built and strengthen alliances, weaken the alliances of the opponent

Militant movements in the Third World build strategic alliances with Anti-Western groups within the West.

Examples are:

- the Viet Mihn which allied with tha Anti-War movement in the U.S. to weaken the support of the American population for U.S. involvement in the War between North- and South-Vietnam.

- the struggle between Zimbabwean and South African Black Nationalists against the Afrikaner and Rhodesian White Minorities ruling those societies resulted in boycotts, economic collapse, demoralisation and the consequential toppling of the White Minority Governments in Southern Africa.

A new alliance on an old front

And now the Muslim Middle East, particularly the militant Palestinian movement is working on creating an alliance with the treasonous Left in the West. Together they form a new Anti-Western Lobby. Part of the great Treason Lobby. A typical organisation representing this Treason Lobby is the BDS (Boycott, Disinvestment, Sanction) Movement.

The BDS is holding a congress in Geneva on 18 and 19 April. They are preparing the ground for the United Nations' Durban Review Conference, which is a successor to the 2001 Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Conference in Durban, South Africa. This conference is also organised by the UN.

The Muslim world has a lot of clout against Israel in the UN, because the number of Islamic Countries, each of which can vote in the UN General Assembly.

The Israeli - US alliance

Israel has long counted on the veto power of the USin the UN councils. The US announced yesterday that it will not attend the Anti-Racism and Discrimination Conference.

If the alliance between the US and Israel is undermined, Israel will become isolated, unless it finds new alliances. A boycott and desinvestment of Israel may demoralise the Israeli population and elite to such an extend that they merge Israel with the Palestinian entity into one state. This would be the end of a State that sees itself as the Jewish State, the main representation of the Jews on the international, security and political level.

The planned Endgame for Israel

The goal of the BDS is to deligitimize Israel as a separate and therefore racist and discriminatory entity. Israel would lose the support of the US public. Both gentile and the intensely liberal US Jews. There are already Jewish groups organised that are against the existence of a separate Jewish state, in the US, Europe and Israel itself. The latter is perhaps the starkest example of a Treason Lobby that we have. It might weaken the support of the ethnically Jewish population of Israel for the Jewish State.

The Muslim community in Europe flexes its muscle

Recently the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) launched an offensive against Hamas in the Gaza strip, with massive firepower and an armoured ground assault. To retaliate against the bombardments of Israeli towns with rockets. And for electoral reasons, by projecting a tough image for the Leftist (Kadima) parties.

The hamfisted Israeli action led to demonstrations in Western cities. The usual Leftist demonstrators saw their ranks swelled by large numbers of Muslims living in European Urban areas. The protestors managed to get the London police on the run. This causes great pressure for European governments to sever their links with Israel.

A Backlash

On the other hand the demonstrations caused dissatisfaction amongst the ethnic European citizen of European nations with large Muslim immigrant communities. Westerners instinctively identify with other Westerners and ethnic Europeans feel less secure in their homelands than during the struggle for Southern Africa.

Dutch Right-wing populist Geert Wilders and Vlaams Belang politicians supported the Israelis. This move was supported by their electoral bases.

Today the news came out that the Dutch Foreign Minister, Mr. Maxime Verhagen, declared that The Netherlands would not attend the Geneva Anti-Racism and Discrimination Conference. He was quoted; "these countries were planning to use the summit to put religion above human rights and rein in freedom of speech". Mr. Verhagen is a Christian Democrat and his party needs to have a strong profile against Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV). Freedom of Speech is a typical point where centrist parties such as the Christian Democrats are seen as weak by Dutch voters who are defecting from the Christian Democrats to the Freedom Party.

It is sure that Israel will remain a flash point for conflict in the struggle by Islam to dominate all societies in the world. Islam can not countenance that there is a formerly Muslim-ruled territory ruled by unsubmitting Infidels.

A Western Patriotic Alliance

But the Middle Eastern conflict has become linked to Europe through immigration and Muslim colonisation on Western land. A formal or informal alliance between certain European groups and Israel, could provide a counterweight to the Muslim-Leftist alliance.

The State of the West

Standing up for your country is taboo

Standing up for the West brings few benefits for those who engage in it. It does not bring quick fame and fortune. On the contrary, Patriotism and a Pro-Western attitude brings many disadvantages. Many people avoid standing up for country and culture.

Mr. Steinar Lem is a brave Norwegian Environmentalist who wants Norwegian society protected from mass immigration. A translation of an article by him in the Norwegian press was featured on the Gates of Vienna blog.

“Oslo will soon have a majority of non-Western background, and in due course the same could happen to the whole country during this century. Most non-Westerners have a Muslim background. The consequences will be dramatic.”

Social ostracism

The dogma of the desirablility of non-western immigrants is strong. So strong in fact that Mr. Lem challenges it because he has no future anyway. He will die in one or two years: “If I had not been seriously sick with cancer and been working, I could not have written this”

Using pseudonyms

Others are less circumspect. Dennis Mangan, an American blogger writes under his own name. He recently featured an article about the merits of writing conservative opinion articles under pseudonyms rather than under one's own name.

I am not really a 70 year dead guy writing from the other side of the great divide. My nom de plume is of the great Dutch orientalist Snouck Hurgronje. I would say it is braver to write under one's own name. And it can have a positive effect on people, when they see people standing up for the national question and the Cause of the West.

As the West suffers more and more damage it is to be expected that more people will publicly support Western Patriotism. It is through suffering and defeat that Western Patriotism will advance. The question is, whether the Patriots will be on time to save a sustainable piece of what they cherish.

Expelling Criminal Foreigners from The Netherlands

Youth gang members are to be expelled

Police of Amsterdam-West is using expulsion as a weapon against criminal foreigners. Two Moroccan Muslim brothers (Dutch), around 20 years of age, with long rap sheets are facing possible expulsion. Interestingly enough the move is advocated by an ethnic Moroccan local Councillor, Mr. Achmed Marcouch.

The brothers have been in The Netherlands for 15 years. They forgot to renew their residence permits. Usually the Immigration Department does not process expulsions for people who are in The Netherlands for more than 5 years.

Illegal AND criminal: what are they doing here?

I would say that it is strange that illegals, criminal or not, are not expelled as a matter of principle. Tha fact that the two are violent criminals makes their expulsion particularly damning. Dutch public officials are not doing their duty: protecting the security and property of the Dutch people.

The gang to which the two Moroccan brothers belong consists for about 80 percent of people without Dutch nationality. I do not see any reason NOT to expel every last of these criminal foreigners, who ruthlessly infringe on the rights of Dutch citizens.

Amazingly several public officials have reacted negatively the plan to expel the Moroccans.

Geert Wilders announces Fitna the Sequel

Starting the Fitna 2 project

The leader of the Dutch Freedom Party (Dutch) announced (Dutch) the commencing of making a sequel to his earlier film "Fitna". "Fitna" means "Discord" in Arabic and is a Islamic theological term.

Jihad and Mass-immigration

In the original "Fitna" Geert Wilders showed the connection between present day terrorism by Mislims and the injunctions in the Quran to wage Jihad to further the power of Sharia-law in Non-Muslim societies.

Mr. Geert Wilders stated that "Fitna 2" will focus on Mass-immigration as an engine for Islamisation of the West. The importance of demographics rather than just terror will be an eye-opener to many right-wingers. This deviates from the universalist neo-conservative position which has been an important prop of U.S.-policy.

US filmmakers

It is intended to involve U.S. filmmakers in the making of "Fitna 2". This is important because the U.S. promotes mass immigration for Western societies. Recently U.S. President Obama urged the EU to accept Turkey as a member, which would open European nations to unchecked immigration from Turkey.

The original "Fitna" was made by a Dutch filmmaker who named himself "Scarlet Pimpernel". The name of the new filmmaker has not been revealed.

"Fitna, the Sequel" is slated to be released in 2010.

Imams in Dutch Army

In the beginning of April the Dutch Army was to install its first two Imams to administer the religious needs of its Muslim soldiers and officers. Suad Aydin and Ali Eddaoudi of Turkish and Moroccan background respectively.

The proposed appointment of Ali Eddaoudi as a Dutch Army Imam ran into trouble. Dutch Parliamentarians of the Freedom Party and the Liberal-Conservatives dug up opinion articles written by the Imam in which he said that the Dutch and other Western Armies had no business being in Afghanistan.

The opinion of the Imam is that the West should not interfere in Islamic societies, because Western and Islamic values are too much at odds with one another.

In my opinion the Imam is right. But if Islam and Western values are so at odds then there is no place in Dutch society for Muslims, whether laymen or Imams. And they certainly have no business administering the religious needs of Dutch soldiers. Islam centers on the imposition of Sharia law on societies through struggle or Jihad.

A true Dutch Army does not have religious authorities in its ranks that teach Sharia and Jihad, the submitting of unbelievers under Islamic rule. There should not be a place in the Dutch Army for ANY Muslim religious authorities. It would be against the essense of Dutch Nationalism, our Christian and European heritage.

Furthermore it is my opinion that in order to right what is wrong in The Netherlands we need a total overhaul of mentality to restore Western values in The Netherlands.

The Military Industrial Congressional Complex drives towards America's Defense Meltdown

When stepping down in 1961 President Eisenhower warned of the collusion between the U.S. military and the Defense Industry. This collaboration caused the U.S. to spend its budgets in a way that served the narrow interests of the Defense Industry and Military leadership. Rather than on the security needs of the nation.

Winslow Wheeler, editor of "America's Defense Meltdown" argues with 13 other Defense Procurement experts that the complex also includes U.S. Congress, which for decades has failed to effectively oversee Defense Contracting. The result is U.S. defense spending 50 percent of global defense budgets, yet failing to achieve decisive results against tiny opponenents. For instance Al-Qaida is estimated to number approximately 70.000 members.

A few weeks ago Mr. Wheeler gave a presentation on the how and why of the U.S. Army inventory of weapons systems aging and shrinking in a time of high spending. Mr Wheeler is accompanied by two contributors to the book: Pierre Sprey, co-designer of the F-16 and A-10 jets, and Thomas Christie, former adviser to the Secretary of Defense on weapons systems testing.

Wave of robberies in The Netherlands

Number of robberies is rising sharply

In the first two months of 2009 the number of robberies up by 21 percent (Dutch) compared to 2008, reports Dutch newspaper "De Telegraaf". There were 579 reported burglaries in two months. The upward trend of 2008 is continuing and the police is helpless to positively influence it according to the Council of Police Chiefs (Raad van Hoofdcommissarissen).

Joe Public is sick and tired

The public blames the robberies on Muslims, Caribbeans and Eastern-Europeans. With the Credit Crisis the number of unemployed is rising, particularly in the aforementioned groups who are often not on permanent contracts if they are gainfully employed. So the number of robberies may well increase at a even faster rate.

Idle hands are the devil's workshop.

U.S. Fed prints money - economy will not revive

The U.S. Fed is expanding the money supply

The U.S. are trying to drown their nation in debt. The GDP of the U.S. is 14 Trillion U.S. Dollars. The Fed is creating a Trillion dollars which will be made available to private and business which they can borrow. This means an expansion of the money supply of 7 percent against GDP.

It remains to be seen whether the public will actually be foolish enough to borrow more money. The experience of Japan in the 90ies showed that the public preferred saving over spending in a similar situation.

But that will mean that the U.S. economy will continue to stagnate.

Thrifty Continental Europe

The Anglo-Saxons have built up huge debts to finance their decade lasting spending spree. But European nations, which were thrifty saving up money and lending it to the Anglo-Saxons are in stagnation. The Anglo-Saxons at least had a party before the hang-over....

Analysis

The causes of the economic stagnation are for a considerable part demographic. As European and American societies are reproducing below replacement rate, the population is aging rapidly. The economic base of the welfare state is shrinking. High immigration is seen as a solution by the political classes, but in reality the third world colonists are an enormous drain on said shrinking public purse. Many of the immigrants are not working and if they are working they earn on average far less than indigenous population. They use up more public means than the indigenous. Think of high consumption of medical care, police, benefits, higher per capita educational outlays. The average net earnings of the total population (indigenous plus immigrants) are decreasing at the same time as the public expenses increase.

The blindness of the political class

The political class can not see the predicament their nation is in because they have outlawed reporting unfavourable facts and analysis and if it were reported to them they would refuse to grasp it as their liberal worldview makes it EVIL to form thoughts that are illiberal.

George Orwell showed in his book 1984 how the the ruling party or Inner Party creates Newspeak. Newspeak is political correctness. The objective of Newspeak is to make political thought that disagrees with the ruling party's ideology impossible, because the language has been so degraded that nobody can form an alternative point of view anymore.

The memory hole. The memory hole!

George Orwell was a Trotzkyite Socialist. He thought the attempt by the Inner Party could be succesfull. It never occurred to him that when the Inner Party had impaired its ability to orient itself on reality by creating a false ideology reality would intrude on society in a vicious way. He believed that the Inner Party was powerful enough to use the media to such an effect that any changes to reality would be cast down the "memory hole".

The ability to react by an ossified social system

But how do you hide double digit unemployment and a decade of economic stagnation from the public and the party faithfull? What if the Inner Party, ossified by decades of unchallenged rule and exclusive reliance on bureaucratic process loses its faith and self-confidence?

Western Governments, bankers are frantically pushing their controls in order to revive the economy, which is the only prop of the present social system. But nothing is happening......the system does not respond. It will be a long time before it does.

Vlaams Belang leader publishes book on Islamization

Islamization and resistance against Islamization is becoming a prominent plank in the political platform of many self-respecting nationalist movements in Europe.

Mr. Filip DeWinter, the leader of the Vlaams Belang, a Conservative and Nationalist Party of Dutch-speaking Belgians published a book called: "Insha'Allah? The Islamization of Europe".

This blog yesterday featured a story about Interior Minister Guusje ter Horst blocking the appointment of Mr. Teun Visscher as a police manager. This on account of him being a white male.

The news just came out that Mr. Visser is going to be confirmed as Police District Chief of the South Holland South (Ridderkerk) district after all.

This on account of heavy pressure on the Interior Minister whipped up by populist Dutch media such as newspaper "De Telegraaf" and weblog geenstijl.

For reasons which are probably entirely opportunistic these media managed to get the decision reversed.

The headline on geenstijl was: White Man - Guusje ter Horst: 1-0.

Dutch High Court slams prosecution of Islam-basher

Dutch Islam basher prosecuted for hate crime

A Dutch citizen who put up a poster stating "stop the Islam cancer growth" (Dutch) was prosecuted after the public prosecutor received complaints from aggrieved citizens in 2004.

Today the Dutch High Court, the highest Court of Justice in the land, issued the verdict that the citizen was not culpable. The Court motivated its decision by stating that although the law objects to insulting a religious group, it does not object to insulting religious belief. This new jurisprudence of article 137c of the Dutch Penal Code (Dutch) has bearing on the case of Geert Wilders who is being prosecuted for fiercely criticizing Islamic belief and Islamic Scripture.

So it is possible to say "Islam is bad", but saying "Muslims are bad" still gets one in trouble legally.

The bearing of this verdict on the Wilders Case

This verdict of the High Court makes it less likely that Geert Wilders will in fact be prosecuted and convicted under Hate Crime Legislation as demanded by the Amsterdam Court of Appeal.

Such a shame. The Freedom Party was making hay over the prosecution of its leader Geert Wilders. Opinion polls showed that the Freedom Party (PVV) had become the biggest party in The Netherlands if election had been held recently.

PC under fire by the press

The MSM Swan Song

The Mains Stream Media (MSM) in The Netherlands are losing their reader basee and can no longer attract advertising. Some organs of the MSM merge, others dissapear. The remaining newspapers are desperate for readers and some increasingly resort to populism in order to retain and attract readership. Newspaper "De Telegraaf" thus has started to regularly expose for instance Muslim crime, thus attacking multicultural society.

Their latest attack was last Friday when "De Telegraaf" exposed affirmative action (AA) in the police.

AA in the Dutch Police

The Dutch government has decided that the biggest problem that the police faces is not their ridiculously low ratio of solved cases to reported cases, but rather that there are too few high ranking women and immigrant police officers. So the government agreed on quotas for area police chiefs. Half of area police chief posts should be either female or immigrant. The implementation of the policy was entrusted to Interior Minister Guusje ter Horst. Minister Ter Horst is herself a Affirmative Action Labour Party apparatchik.

And when Minister Ter Horst was not having a lot of success in conjuring up acceptable candidates out of thin air, parliamentarians both from the Left and the "Right" urged her to to get on with the program and to be like "a apparition from Hell" if the police bureaucracy would resist.

The police organisation kept nominating white males due to a quaint urge to preserve its standards. Its questionable standards which result in only one out of five reported cases being solved, the lowest ratio in Europe. One slot had been kept open for 15 months, when the police organisation nominated another white male. Minister Ter Horst decided show some steel and blocked the appointment and to cancel the nomination party.

At this point the story was leaked to "De Telegraaf" and they published it with an angle of "White Males Cannot become Police Chiefs". This predicably caused fury both amongst the public and the punditry.

It feels so good to be angry

Pundits and commenters had great fun bashing Minister Ter Horst, Affirmative Action and PC. What they are ignoring is that the problem is brought on by the possibly wrong idea that all groups are equal in ability and will to fullfill certain societal functions. Perhaps white males are just naturally better police men than women and minorities. Otherwise white males may have a stronger feeling of v o c a t i o n to protect Dutch society. Perhaps there are other reasons I cannot think of.

Perhaps the Liberal belief of equality does not correspond to reality and should be jettisoned.

Bank of England announces it will begin printing money

The Bank of England (BoE) has announced it will cut the lending rate with another 5 points to 0,05 percent. This is the lowest interest rate since the BoE's founding in 1694 by William III of Orange.

Last resort of the "lender of last resort"

This is the UK's last resort. If it does not work, there is nothing to stop the descent into a deep recession, with the attending DOUBLE DIGIT unemployment.

Lessons are not being learned

Quantum Fund co-founder Jim Rogers criticized the U.S. governments policy of bailing out of failing financial and other firms. The bail-outs are impairing the learning ability of the economic leadership and are morally wrong. Those institutions who took the biggest risks are bailed out at the taxpayers expense. Smarter, more prudent leaders are not reaping the benefits of being able to pick up the assets of the failing companies when they go broke.

Those who created the mess are sitting high and dry

Leaders of U.S. Industry who took criminal risks are now walking around with hundreds of millions of Dollars in their pockets, while the U.S. middle class is going to be squezed once taxes are raised to pay off the huge Debts the U.S. Government is incurring in order to spend its way out of the Debt crisis. Basically the U.S. is taking more of the poison that got it into this terrible spot in the first place.

"They all took huge, huge profits. Who was the head of Citigroup? Chuck Prince? I mean, how many hundreds of millions of dollars did Prince take out of the company? How many hundreds of millions of dollars did other Citibank execs take out of the company? Wall Street has paid something like $40 billion or $50 billion in bonuses in the past decade. Who was that guy who was the head of Merrill Lynch (MERR)?

Right, Stan O'Neal. He got $150 million for leaving, even though he ruined the company. Look at the guy at Fannie Mae (FNM), Franklin Raines. He did worse accounting than Enron. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (FRE) alone did nothing but pure fraudulent accounting year after year, and yet that guy's walking around with millions of dollars. What the hell kind of system is this?"

Global Social Unrest

Jim Rogers sees this Debt crisis as a global problem and forecasts global social unrest.

In my opinion this crisis will hit the nations with more ethnically and culturally diverse societies harder than more homogenous society. This crisis will do for the West what the Brezhnev years of stagnation did for the Soviet Union and Communism.

Freedom Party Voter Profile Normalizes

The old voting pattern of the Freedom Party

Voter research two weeks ago showed that the profile of people who want to vote Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) is increasingly conform to the Dutch average. While earlier Freedom Party voters had lower average incomes than the Dutch average, well-educated and prosperous voters are incresingly indicating that they want to vote for the Freedom Party.

The issue for the new base of support: Freedom of Speech

The issue that fires these new Freedom Party voters most strongly is Freedom of Speech. Voter research shows that the Dutch middle class is becoming increasingly concerned about the State encroaching on the Freedom of Speech. The Netherlands has seen such encroachment in the arrest of Dutch Cartoonist Gregorius Nekschot and the prosecution of Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders.

Geert Wilders' Freedom Party is the greatest!

According to a poll (Dutch) released yesterday Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) has the largest share of the votes if elections would be held now. The Freedom Party polled at 27, while the next biggest party polled at 26.

This low point of the Christian Democrats shows the fractured nature of the Dutch political landscape. The advances made by the Freedom Party were mostly at the expense of the other "right wing" parties. It will be very difficult to put governments together, governments will consist of three or more parties, be unstable and they will lack clear mandates.

Minor parties such as the Christian Union and the Greens will have enormous leverage during negotiations over coalitions. I forecast new limitations on abortion and stricter limits on euthanasia.

Flanders opens representation in U.S.

Wednesday Kris Peeters, the Prime Minister of Flanders, opened the Flanders House in New York (FHNY).

The Flanders House will make Flanders (the Dutch speaking part of Belgium) less dependent on the diplomatic infrastructure of thee Belgian state in the USA.

"The Flemish Prime Minister Kris Peeters (Christian democrat) on Wednesday officially opened Flanders House. The office will serve as a quasi embassy for Flanders in the Big Apple."

Defense and foreign policy are the most essential constituent parts of any political entity. This attempt by Flanders to by-pass the Belgian State shows the determination of the Flemish to become souvereign.

Wilders to go to Britain again?

This morning a Dutch Newspaper reported that Lord Pearsons invited Mr. Geert Wilders again to visit Parliament. Lord Pearsons did the same two weeks ago in order for Mr. Wilders to show his film and have it debated. The Dutch Freedom Party (PVV) MP was then barred from entering the U.K. on orders of U.K. Home Minister Jacqui Smith. The grounds for the refusal were quoted to be the "dangers to community relations" and "Wilders incendiary views".

It has now become public that the U.K. going to allow Ibrahim Moussawi, a spokesman of the Lebanese Hizbollah movement, to enter the country and speak to an audience at the "School of Oriental and African Studies" (SOAS) a London University. Mr. Moussawi has called the Jews "a lesion on the forehead of history" and has been a political editor of Al-Manar, a Hizbollah mouthpiece and a fount of Anti-Jewish propaganda.

This morning the "Nederlands Dagblad" a Dutch newspaper reports that Lord Pearson has again invited Mr. Wilders (Dutch) to visit British Parliament. Baroness Neville-Jones, the Tory shadow Minister of Security, critizised the double standard in Jacqui Smith's U.K. entrance policy.

Plane crash in The Netherlands: eye witness reports lethalities

People killed on board of crashed Turkish Airlines plane

Eye witnesses report 4 or 5 bodies next to the plane lieing under white sheets. The plane crashed near Schiphol Airport, the Amsterdam airport.

This contradicts reports from the Turkish Minister of Transport and the Managing Director of Turkish Airlines.

The crash concerns flight TK 1951. The type is a Boeing 737-800.

NOS 24 reports that the Turkish Airlines hit the ground at 10:47 local time. Turkish Media report that there were 134 names on the passenger list.

The plane crash landed in a field a three kilometers from the "Polderbaan" landing strip, next to the A9 highway. There are contradictory reports of 1 person killed or nobody killed from Turkish media and the Turkish Minister of Transport.

The plane lies in a field which has just been ploughed and vehicles such as ambulances can not reach the plane. Wounded passengers are evacuated by a tracked rescue vehicle that shuttles them to a nearby road where ambulances are parked.

The plane left Istanbul at 08:20 local time

An eye witness saw the plane crashing and 15 people leaving the plane immediately after the crash. The plane was flying extremely slow and low before it crashed.

Plane Crash in The Netherlands

The news came just in that about half an hour ago (10:30 local time) a plane crashed on Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. The plane that crashed belongs to a Turkish airline. These Turkish charter firms are infamous for their low level of maintenance.

According to Dutch newspaper the Volkskrant and other sources the airline is "Turkish Airlines" and there were about 100 passengers on board.

Gouda has persistent problems with its Moroccan colony. Earlier Gouda hit the news as Moroccans attacked a church with a fire bomb.

The CBS, the Dutch Statistics Service, reported that in 2008 immigration rose (Dutch) to the highest point ever. On a 16.5 million population The Netherlands received 143,000 immigrants, both from EU countries and non-EU countries. The number of people emigrating amounted to 116,000. The natural increase rose and amounted to 185,000. The figures released by the CBS are provisional and are not split to country of origin.

Integration in The Netherlands

Within the EU The Netherlands has the third highest ranking for freedoms and right given to immigrants as shown by the MIPEX index. Just as the other countries with a high MIPEX score The Netherlands scores very low the integration and participation indexes as shown by the PISA study done by the OECD. The PISA Study shows that Non-western immigrants in The Netherlands (Dutch) live higly segregated lives, do not learn the Dutch language and participate relatively little in gainful employment, compared with more restrictive countries such as Germany, France or Switzerland.

The Political and Cultural history of The Netherlands

The political culture and history of The Netherlands shows little inclination for state enforced restriction on religious and cultural groups. The Netherlands is a federation of Northern Protestants and Southern Catholics that was created in the 17th Century in a Dutch Protestant revolt against Spanish Habsburg and Catholic emirial authority. In order for the different religious communities to co-exist in one state the state interferes as little as possible in the internal affairs of religious communities. The Dutch could peacefully co-exist with each other by ignoring the other religious communities. This Dutch inclination is then increased for the worse by the ruling Western orthodoxy of Liberalism and Multiculturalism.

A recent example

Last week this inclination was shown again by new Minister of Neighbourhoods and Integration (Dutch) van der Laan. He want to allow municipalities which have to oversee intergration courses for immigrants to waive the 270 Euro fee for the the 5,500 Euro courses.

Non-western immigrants who come here often despise us. When they find out that they can get away with despising us they despise us even more.

It is a lose-lose situation.

Dutch GDP shrinks dramatically

This week the Dutch CPB (Central Planning Bureau, a Governmental Econometrist Information Service) undertook an unusual step. It published the estimate of economic performance a month early due to their serious and disturbing nature. As a result of the international financial crisis the growth estimate for Dutch GDP for 2009 is MINUS 3.5 percent. The 2010 estimate is minus 0.25 percent. This means two consecutive years of economic contraction.

This means we are in a very serious kind of recession or rather a depression type of situation. An unusually deep contraction of the economy. Unemployement is rising. As a result the social peace and "community relations" will suffer seriously.

Geert Wilders enters Italy

Geert Wilders yesterday visited Italy (Dutch). He went there as a part of his "Facing Jihad World Tour" and to receive the Oriana Fallaci Free Speech Award.

It would seem that Italy is politically less affected by Islamisation than Great Britain, which refused Geert Wilders entrance last week. This was motivated by a concern for "community relations" and Geert Wilders' pronunciations on the subject of the Islamic religion and the Quran.
