Belgian elections on June 7
Similar to what is happening in The Netherlands, to the North of Belgium, in politics the center is weakening and splinters are forming in the wings.
Belgium's communities
Belgium is devided in the Flemish North and the Walloon South. The Flemish speak Dutch, the Walloons speak French. Traditionally the country was Walloon dominated. Since the 1970ies the Flemish part has become economically dominant. But this is only very slowly translating into political gains for the Flemish. Increasingly however the Flemish are turning their backs on the Walloons. The Walloons have never been much interested in Flanders, apart from Flanders as a source of income transfers.
Sponging Wallons find a new sponge
This is evidenced by the dominance of the Socialist Party in Wallonia. The 19th century heavy industry has become a grave yard. The workers are laid off. Their unemployment benefits are unaffordable for Wallonia. Dynamic Flanders makes up the balance in the name of "solidarity". Socialist dominated Wallon society is never reformed and it has become a backward, socially and morally bankrupt rust belt.
The elections in Wallonia for the Wallons parliament saw gains at the expense of the Socialist Party by the Greens (Ecolo). The Wallons are voting for a new sponge with a different colour. It is still a sponge.
Dynamic Flemish inch towards the right
The Flemish nationalist Vlaams Belang of Filip DeWinter lost both in the European Parliament elections and the Flemish Parliament elections. Their voters were picked up by "Lijst DeDecker" and the "NV-A". They are both right-wing parties, expousing anti-socialist and Libertarian positions. They agree with Vlaams Belang on more autonomy for Flanders. However they are much more moderate with regards to immigration and Islamisation. The Flemish centrist parties were further weakened.
It will continue to be difficult to form governments in Belgium. The authority of government coalitions which can be put together will be low. The attitude of the Wallons voters seems unchanged. In Flanders the retreat of the Vlaams Belang is remarkable. It is the first retreat of the Vlaams Belang. It may be interpreted that under the influence of the world wide recession Flemish voters (Dutch) are more interested in economic issues than in issues of culture and identity.

To the voting booth
Went to the voting station early this morning. Cast my ballot for Barry Madlener the Freedom Party (PVV).
Before
When I got the vote I usually voted for the Liberals (VVD), something always gnawed at me. It must have been their lukewarm commitment to our country and our people. In the late nineties the VVD moved to the multicultural Left. First under Mr. Dijkstal and Mr. Rutte.
Now
It feels wholesome to have a political group that unabashedly represents the interests and the identity of the Dutch Nation in Europe.

Geert Wilders' Freedom Party goes Europe
Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) has today announced its intention to appoint canidates that will contest the elections for the European Parliament (EP). These elections will be on 4 April 2009.
The campaign will focus on issues like a veto for the national government on legislation coming from Brussels. Eighty percent of all Dutch legislation comes from the EU level. Other issues are "no admission to the EU of Turkey (Dutch). Not in a hundred, not in a thousand years".
And finally, Mr. Wilder will henceforth be addressed as Thor by the EP.
YEAH! :-)

From the frying pan into the fire
The Euro elites do not approve of the Christian view on nature:
But Darwinism itself is also a danger to Liberal dogma.
Noted DNA scientist James Watson recently said in an interview with The Times of London:
"The newly formed Equality and Human Rights Commission, successor to the Commission for Racial Equality, said it was studying Dr Watson's remarks "in full".... Anti-racism campaigners called for Dr Watson's remarks to be looked at in the context of racial hatred laws. A spokesman for the 1990 Trust, a black human rights group, said: "It is astonishing that a man of such distinction should make comments that seem to perpetuate racism in this way. It amounts to fueling bigotry and we would like it to be looked at for grounds of legal complaint."
The radical Liberalism highest ideal is radical egalitarianism. Both religion and racial / ethnic differences are at odds with egalitarianism. Darwin is not a suitable ally for the Euro egalitarians to defeat religion, as its outcomes point to a unequal humanity similar to that of the Old Testament of the Bible.
Darwin and Christianity may not be friends, but they do seem to be in agreement about the fundamental unequality of religions, races, nations and sexes.
And the history of the Soviet Union shows you can fool people about this inequality for a considerable period of time, but Truth can not be surpressed indefinately.
European lawmakers approved a report condemning efforts to teach creationism in schools, underscoring concern about an emerging socially conservative agenda. The radical liberal egalitarianism that powers the Euro elites allows for no serious religiousness in Europeans. Creationism is a threat. This is a confirmation of the refusal to appoint Italian Roman Catholic politician Buttiglioni as a EU mandarin, because he was a serious Christian: he held that homosexuality goes against God's plan.
Meeting in Strasbourg, France, Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe members approved, in a non-binding 48-25 vote, a report that criticizes creationism advocate for potentially sacrificing children's education "to impose religious dogma" and to promote "a radical return to the past," The International Herald Tribune reported Friday.
Creationism supporters endorse "a radical return to the past which could prove particularly harmful in the long term for all our societies,The European Parliament (EP) seeks to surpress this threat. The next step will be to criminalize opposition to Darwinist Dogma.
But Darwinism itself is also a danger to Liberal dogma.
Noted DNA scientist James Watson recently said in an interview with The Times of London:
that he is inherently gloomy about the prospect of Africa” because “all our social policies are based on the fact that their intelligence is the same as ours – whereas all the testing says not really”, and I know that this “hot potato” is going to be difficult to address. His hope is that everyone is equal, but he counters that “people who have to deal with black employees find this not true”. He says that you should not discriminate on the basis of colour, because “there are many people of colour who are very talented, but don’t promote them when they haven’t succeeded at the lower level.According to an article in the Independent (HT Laurence Auster):
