Freedom of association goes both ways

Invoking Godwin

There is nothing wrong with the proprietor of a shop refusing entrance to PVV-voters. He is free to associate with whom he wants to. Also the use of a Godwin by Geenstijl is inappropriate. The reference is to the "Jews not admitted" policy Dutch public places had to enforce on orders of the Nazi-occupation authorities in 40-45. This is inappropriate because such a state enforced policy has a broad reach which can not be compared to individual busness proprietors associating with customers at their own discretion.

Problems with Muslim males in Western societies

Compare it to the right of bar and nightclub owners to refuse for instance young muslim males, because these are a menace to the non-muslim customers especially women.

Freedom of Association

There is such a thing as freedom of association. This freedom seeks to prevent the state from interfering in the social relations of citizens. Progressives use anti-racism legislation to undermine this freedom. This gives free way to intrusion by the state on the social relations between citizens. Conservatives should oppose anti-racism legislation on the principle of freedom of association.

Conservatives for progress

Gates of Vienna positions itself as a conservative blog. It is sad to see Conservative giving extra power to the assault by the state into the social relations of private citizens.

Appeasement in Gouda

Gouda has a history of violence by Muslim youth

The Dutch town of Gouda has been plagued by violence by Muslim youth for a long time. Usually the violence is committed by groups of youngsters of Moroccan origin, as featured in posts on this blog in November 2008. Today De Telegraaf featured an article which showed how the Gouda authorities are dealing with troublemakers. They give the trouble makers money to organize a party on New Years Eve in order to avoid Muslim rioting. The De Telegraaf article revealed that the municipality had given 2,250 Euro to the rioters to hire a DJ and cater a party.

Moral Hazard

This a move is a moral hazard. It is an incentive to rioters and criminals. In another Dutch provincial town there were race riots on New Years Eve between Moluccan and Moroccan Muslim youth, which featured in the news prominently. Obviously reality diverges from the Multi-Cultural idyll. With the Wilders trial in the background news such as this provide a constant source of illustration of Geert Wilders and other opponents of the Multi-Cultural society.

A while ago this blog featured exerpts from an interview with Mr. Henri Markens, a principal of a Jewish school in Amsterdam. At the time a commenter, Rob, questioned the representativity of Mr. Markens. I corraborated Mr. Markens' story with another article on the threat from Muslims to Jews in The Netherlands. Esther's Islam in Europe Blog today had another recent article from Leftist daily Het Parool and it again very bluntly shows the danger to the Jewish minority by the Muslim minority.

It does not matter whether this blogger brings this story out of concern for the Jews or out of enmity to the Muslims. The bigger point is that the multicultural ideology is wrong. Different cultures in the same social and political space can be toxic to each other. Separating cultures and nations keeps the peace.

Amsterdam provides jobs to Muslim criminals

The Amsterdam municipality has a policy which requires all those hired by the municipality to have a conduct certificate. Many Muslim youth have criminal records and they can not obtain the certificate and hence no cushy municipal jobs for them.

Allah intervenes on behalf of those who believe

His name is Achmed Marcouch, the mayor of the borough Amsterdam-West. Mr. Marcouch the Messenger is powerful! His words bent law and justice! Thus spoke the Messenger at the time appointed by Allah:

My readers will say this cannot be true. Okay, I made up the "Allahkarim" and "Bismillah" and "Ya Allah" and all that malarky. But the rest is the Christian Truth! The plan is cooked up by Ad Agencies TBWA and Hot DNA and is financed by Mr Marcouch´ borough Amsterdam-West and Job Agency Tempo Team.

So you see how it works. If you are functional and employed you are taxed by the state. Your money is taken from you. In return you are not protected by the state. The state gives the money to those who are violent and prey on the law-abiding. The lawless are also assisted to do what the law-abiding do without state assistence.

Is it not time that the state would crack down on criminals, expells them and restore justice, law and order while lowering the tax burden on the law abiding citizens of The Netherlands? Dutchmen can now vote for such a program: the PVV's. In the polls it is the biggest party already. Meanwhile the media are rife with speculation on the collapse of the Labour Party, the party of Marcouch the Messenger.

This blog has featured many stories on the phenomenal rise of the Freedom Party (PVV) and the electrifying effect it has had on a section of the Dutch public.

But what about the Muslims in The Netherlands and Islam in Europe? Obviously the rise of a movement hostile to Islam must be a matter of concern, fear and anger to them, right?

Right!

Dutch Muslim politicians think Muslims may turn against society

Rotterdam has a Muslim mayor, the recently appointed Achmed Aboutaleb. A member of Mr. Aboutaleb's council, Turkish Labour aelderman Hamit Karakus (Dutch), gave vent to his feelings. In newspaper "De Volkskrant" he says:

young Muslims (Dutch) do not feel that they are accepted. Young, well educated Muslims wonder whether they have a future in The Netherlands. It may be that this may lead to radicalisation of a small fraction of Muslims in The Netherlands. People who wonder about their future fall back on the certainties of their own group. I can see how the message of radical Muslims strikes a chord amongst a still small, but growing group.

Wilders is responsible for the growing rift between Muslims and indigenous Dutch. Half of the population of Rotterdam has a immigrant origin by now.

The opinion of the Muslim in the street

A poll commissioned by a Dutch News and Commentary TV show, called Netwerk, completes the picture painted by the Rotterdam municipal council member.

The Netwerk poll (Dutch) asked 319 Muslims of Moroccan and Turkish origin about their thoughts about The Netherlands since Geert Wilders is becoming popular. Moroccans and Turks constitute seventy percent of all Muslims in The Netherlands.

A majority feels at home, but the trend is downward

The majority (76 percent) of sampled Muslims feel at home in The Netherlands. Half of Dutch Muslims (51 percent) thinks of leaving The Netherlands more and more often.

Dutch Muslims identify less with the Dutch nation. A quarter of those sampled see Dutch as their primary identity. 29 percent felt like that ten years ago. 28 percent feels primarily Muslim, compared with a fifth ten years ago.

A widening rift

The increasing popularity of Geert Wilders amongst the ethnic Dutch hurts the feelings of Dutch Muslims. 57 percent feels less at home. 74 percent thinks the Dutch have a lower opinion of Muslims as a result of Geert Wilders' popularity. 39 percent feels discriminated against more often since Wilders has become a power in Dutch politics.

Fear, uncertainty, doubt

22 percent of Dutch Muslims feels fear. And another 22 percent of sampled Dutch Muslims feel hatred as a result of Geert Wilders' popularity with the ethnic Dutch.

The Muslim in the street agrees with Hamit

The Netwerk poll and the words of Rotterdam Aelderman Hamit Karakus indicate a growing rift between Dutch Muslims and wider society, coinciding with the growing electoral strength of Geert Wilders and the PVV. The Netherlands is becoming a less attractive country for Muslims.

Nekschot's Muslim Discrimination Office may be shut down

An Amsterdam - West local council closes down its dedicated Muslim Discrimination Office. An official at this office was involved in compiling the case against Dutch Cartoonist Gregorius Nekschot. Nekschot is infamous for rudely caricaturing Muslims pursuing Sharia Law and Multiculturalist Dutchmen.

Not enough demand

Local Council "De Baarsjes" reasons that too few people use the oppurtunity to complain which the Muslim Discrimination Centre (Dutch) offers.

It is ironic that there is a dedicated Office for the Discrimination of a designated and protected minority.

Ethnic Dutch and young Muslims on a collission course

Two Dutch institutes, the Verwey-Jonker and Forum institutes published a report on young Muslims in The Netherlands last week. It noted that a group of Dutch Muslims are becoming more pious and try to make more room for their religious practices. Practices mentioned are: "the right to pray, not shaking hands, wearing a headscarve, time off on Muslim holidays".

The report also notes that the rest of Dutch society is less willing to accomodate Muslim practices.

Obviously Muslim society and the majority are coming in conflict with each other.

The report optimistically looks at ways in which Muslims can make e.g. their employers accept their practices.

A repeating fraction?

The split up of Multi-National Yugo-Slavia continues: yesterday Kosovo's independence was declared and recognized by 22 nations. The independence is the result of the US and EU policy regarding the break-up of Yugo-Slavia.

After Yugo-Slavia started to unravel in 1990, with the break-away of Slovenia and Croatia, the EU and US have tried to create new Multi-ethnic entities in Bosnia (Croat, Serb and Muslim "Bosniac") and now in the Serbian heartland of Kosovo (Muslim Albanian and Serb). The foreign policy of the EU and the US in this reflects their internal policies of promoting Multi-ethnicity.

However, as in Bosnia, the squabbling nationalities refuse to live together peacefully in Kosovo. The entities require a massive NATO force to keep the fiction alive that the groups can co-exist in the same political entity.

In Bosnia and Serbia proper there were nationalist demonstrations against Kosovo's indipendence. In Kosovo itself members of the Serb minority attacked a symbol of the international presence: a UN compound.

A legion of 5th columns

Prime Minister Erdogan of Turkey went to Germany to state that Turks in Germany and the rest of Europe ought to hold on to their Turkish identity. What goes for Germany, goes for The Netherlands as well. That clears something up for us Dutchies.

Now the Maroccan state made a similar statement regarding the Moroccan communities in Europe. Minister Mohammed Ameur stated (Dutch) that Maroccan children in Europe (Dutch) must be educated in Arabic and Maroccan culture.

It is often stated that Marocco has an economic or pecuniary motive to keep the Moroccans abroad in the orbit of the Moroccan state. The remittances to the home country by Moroccans is the third largest source of foreign currency for the country.

However, Minister Ameur is in charge of the Ministry of Maroccans abroad. Maroccans abroad number 3.2 million or 10 percent of the population. Minister Ameur called them "the 16 province of Marocco". So the state considers them to be integral to the nation.

This integrality to the body of the nation is expressed in:
1. the fact that the state has a Ministry for Maroccans abroad
2. the fact that it has set up a council of advisors of influentual moroccans in Europe which advises the King of Marocco.

Mayor Cohen of Amsterdam okays discrimination of women

The mayor of Amsterdam, Job Cohen, Labour, stunned Amsterdam politicians yesterday afternoon. The case had come up of a Muslim "city security coach" refusing to shake women's hands as a matter of principle. Upon being asked what his stance was on this issue in the light of the constitution's insistence on non-discrimination on the basis of gender (Article 1 of the Dutch Constitution no less) the Amsterdam mayor stated that this was allright and municipal workers and officials could freely discriminate against women if their faith demanded this (HT Kleinverzet).

The core of Liberalism/Leftism is the principal of non-discrimination. Minorities are specially protected by the Left for protection against this cosmic evil. Dutch Libertarian Bart Croughs wrote a book in 1995 called: "in the name of the woman, the gay and the foreigner" in which he wondered what Leftists would chose to support if they HAD to choose between to minorities if they were discriminating against each other. He specifically raised the combination of Muslims discriminating against women.

As far as the mayor of Amsterdam is concerned the issue is clear. The strictures of Islam take precedence over women's rights (Dutch). And it is now Amsterdam municipal policy too.

Christian Democrat municipal councillor Maurice Limmen stated that this would cause many more issues to crop up, such as the permission of discrimination of gays by municipal employees and vowed to oppose such permissiveness.

Of course there is a more pressing issue than discrimination of gays, women and assorted Liberal/Leftist heart throbs.

The question that haunts Amsterdam is whether discrimination of all Infidels by Muslim municipal workers is now permitted. And if it is permitted we have to ask ourselves: "do the municipal authorities still represent us Infidels and our interests or have they been subordinated to Muslims and their Sharia law?"
Oh, for the record. I quite agree with the Muslims with regards to the position of women. Women are societally inferior to men. I endorse discrimination of women. Not in the shaking of hands but in other fields. Such as women being allowed to vote, or to be elected. Generally I am all for discrimination and I think inequality is the basis of society and even all Creation.

Unequal things must be treated unequally. Muslims are unequal to Dutchmen. They think so and I agree with them. So they should be discriminated against. They do not belong in our society. Certainly not in our political order. Not in any way. Article 1 of the Dutch constitution has to be rewritten.

Freedom Party ostracised by Parliament for immigration motion

In 2001 Pim Fortuyn caused a shockwave in The Netherlands by stating on TV that if he could do it legally he would make sure there would "not one Muslim immigrant let in the country". This was during the time he was setting up his List Pim Fortuyn Party or just before.

Last Thursday PVV MP Sietse Fritsma attempted to register a similar proposal for a bill of law. This law from Geert Wilders' Freedom Party (PVV) quiver would ban all immigration from Muslims from Muslim countries. Christians from Muslim countries would not be banned. The law is specifically aimed at brides and bridegrooms which are entering the country as a part of "family re-unification", similar to Bush' "family values do not stop at the Rio Grande" Mexican immigration rethoric.

MP Fritsma had to run the gauntlet from MPs almost all other parties who accused him of "discrimination". This included "right-wing" MPs from the Christian Union (CU)and a Liberal-Conservative VVD MP. MP Fritsma defended his motion on the grounds that Muslims do not share Dutch values, are overrepresented in crime and unemployment and are thus a threat to Dutch interests.

Sietsma did not argue as he should have that non-discrimination even in its present, marxist inspired form does NOT apply from people who are not yet in the country. E.g. it is not illegal under the law that Nigerians, Americans and Germans can not vote in Dutch elections. However it is illegal to think that under liberalism and political correctness.

At some point the moderator of Parliament, Mrs. Verbeet, took Sietsma's propsal from the roll and came to the conclusion that it was unconstitutional and could not be debated. This is not the first time Mrs. Verbeet has done this.

After checking the rules that govern Parliamentary behaviour it became clear that Sietsma's proposal for a bill had to be registered and properly debated.

In conclusion: it is obvious that all Dutch politicians are shackled by liberalism and cultural marxism. The Freedom Party (PVV) seems to be the only exeption.

An interesting fact: Mr. Kamp, the liberal-conservative (VVD) stalwart who is setting a more "right-wing course" for his party accused Fritsma of discriminating Muslims vis-a-vis Africans, who are also overrepresented amongst the unemployed and criminally violent. So it is now a matter of Parliamentary record that Muslims and Africans are more prone to violence and being public charges than the ethnic dutch and certain immigrant groups (Europeans and most Asians). The politicians are fully aware of what they are doing to the nation, but they continue doing it.

I used to vote for this Mr. Kamp. He is our former Defense Minister (2002-2006).

Liberalism bites its own behind

Last weekend Amsterdam saw another installment of its hysterically touted "Gay Pride". The Amsterdam Gay Pride is a flotilla of party boats sailing on the Amsterdam canals in a column:

The flotilla and party afterward is one of the biggest of the year in Amsterdam, and one in which the city upholds its reputation as one of Europe's gayest capitals.

It is an opportunity for Liberals to wallow in smugness. "We are the best! The most tolerant and inclusive lot in the world. Big applause for ourselves!"

But the openness and inclusiveness also allow in masses of Third Worlders into the Netherlands. And thus into liberal Amsterdam. And these Third Worlders are decidedly unliberal in their outlook. As a result the Amsterdam Gay Pride was marred by attacks on gay revellers by Muslim youth for the past 5 years or so.

This year the message of the Pride was a call for tolerance and the spokesman of the Parade and several of the floats carried messages about gay bashing in general and immigrant gay bashing in particular:

Elferink of the COC (Gay rights organisation) disputed that the rise in attacks was due to better reporting.

An Irishman and a Spaniard plus two Americans, all gays (Dutch), were attacked during the weekend. Gay rights organisations called for harsher measures against gay bashers, including collective punishment against groups of people when one of the members of the group attacks gays.

The Irishmen is actually seriously injured, with a broken jaw, a broken nose and a dislocated joint in the neck.

Instead of calling for special protection under the law for special groups, Dutch society should start enforcing existing law, old-fashioned law and order and the borders. This means that all Thirld World immigration should cease.

Freedom Party Activists assaulted by Muslims

Two volunteers of the new hardline conservative "Partij van de Vrijheid" (Freedom Party) of Geert Wilders have been beaten up Friday night by five or six Muslims (Dutch). The volunteers were putting up election posters for the Freedom Party when the Moroccans assaulted them on the Carnagieplein, according to a police spokesman.

The volunteers were lightly injured and their car was damaged. The Muslims have not been apprehended but mayor Deetman of The Hague promised that the police will actually investigate the matter and try to arrest them.

Security is a big issue for the Freedom Party. The party founder needs bodyguards on a permanent basis. All party events have to be guarded and all visitors to events of the fledgling party have to identify themselves and are frisked and scanned for guns, boms and knives.

A costly and cumbersome way to operate, which makes the build-up of the party relatively hard compared to the work of Leftist parties who see the numer of voters growing as a result of the growth of the immigrant communities that vote exclusively (95 percent plus) Leftist.

The political class is continuing to dissolve the people and electing a new one.

Women are loot

Recently there have been riots in Sydney between whites and Lebanese immigrants. The press, Australian and international puts the riots down to white racism and incitement by the extreme right wing.

However Sydney and other Australian cities with lots of Lebanese immigrants are plagued by crime and gang rapes. The perps are found in Islamic communities. Recently there was another court case in which a well off Pakistani immigrant was found to be the ringleader of a gang of rapists. The targets for the rapes were usually white women:

The ringleader of a notorious gang of rapist brothers said he believed one of his teenage victims had "no right to say 'No'" when he attacked her.

And

He said he believed she was promiscuous because she did not wear a Muslim purdah, drank alcohol and sang Shakira lyrics: "My breasts are small but humble". From the witness box, he then turned to the victim, who can only be identified only as T, and apologised for the first time.

It is ridiculous to believe that the man has suddenly come around to the Australian, Western point of view. One can only shake one's head at the incredible naivity and stupidity of these girls when they go with Muslim men and flirt with them. And of the naivity of our elites when they let these Muslims in and are surprised when things get out of hand. Since 1999 there have been repeated almost constant reports about Moslims raping white girls in Australian cities, but the problem is not addressed in a way that these immigrants would have respect for.

And educating our girls and women against behaving in a provocative way would go against Political Correctness, the belief that absolutely nothing bad can be said about non-western cultures and customs.

It is good that Whites in Australia are taking a stand against Immigrant crime, but the real target must be the PC ideology and the establishment that supports it. We can not sit still, while these sheperds are letting wolves amongst sheep. It is a matter honour and pride in ourselves. The youngest victim was 13 years old. Can we stand by and let this happen to our sisters?

(Im)morality of Western Leftists disconnects them from the world

Arab leaders in Hevron have contacted the city’s Jewish leaders for help in getting rid of self-proclaimed anarchist volunteers who, they complain, are destroying their traditional way of life.

European and American Leftists are flocking to Israel to support Palestinians in their resistance against the Israeli forces that occupy the land of Palestine. Protected by their legal status they hinder the Israeli Army and Police in their work at checkpoints and other contact points between the armed forces of the Israelis and the Palestinian population. However, the lack of traditional morals hinders the Leftists to make real contact with the mainstream of Christian and Muslim Palestinian culture:

Several local Arab residents told the Kol Ha’Ir newspaper that the activists have been exposing the local youths to drug use and sexual promiscuity. One interviewee told Kol Ha’Ir that the volunteers show a disregard for the religious norms of the local villages and teach the local youth to reject and disrespect the traditions of their forefathers. "These anarchists come here and undermine the education we give our children.

and:

But very quickly they infuriated me with their lewd behavior.

This clearly shows the disconnect from Third World reality of a significant portion of the public in Western societies. Usually these people see themselves as friends and allies of Third World populations. Not just of Muslims but all poor people in Africa, South America, the Middle East and Asia. Yet when these people visit these societies they are hopelessy out of touch with the core believes and attitudes of Third Worlders. Third Worlders usually highly conservative socially, mindlessy patriotic about their nations and unbashfully zealotic about their religions.

Thus Western Conservatives usually have a quicker understanding of what e.g. Muslims say, think and believe than Western progressives. Because the underlying conceptions of societies and the world are more congruent or isomorph.

As a result the approach of the Left towards the threat of Third World immigration and Islamic terrorism is fundamentally flawed. They do not understand that Muslims really believe in Islam and want to take over the world. By peaceful means if possible, yes. But if this goes slowly their zealots will show their true colors.

And yet Leftists cling to their outdated ideas. And still believe that in the future people will live at peace with each other in a world of plenty. The world will continue to prove them wrong.

The Leftist worldview is embraced by a generation that inherited a world of effortless Western dominance. As the international position of the USA is detoriating economically and militarily and mass immigration is undermining Western populations internally the chasm between the Leftist worldview and reality becomes increasingly obvious.

As a result the public in Western nations are becoming ideologically adrift. Many people are starting to question Leftist dogma about equality between cultures and ethnic groups, utopian Multiculturalism and so forth. A paradigma shift is waiting to happen especially in Europe were the Left is so strong. But because of absolute Leftist Media cartel true Conservative voices are often not heard or they are misrepresented. This is were the internet comes into play.

The internet gives right wingers a platform to work out a world view that is congruent with reality, that makes sense and to present this world view to those who seek truth. The internet is the tool that the Right, the true Right can use to win back the public and hold out a roadmap to Western survival.

And the Western protesters in Israel? What happened to them?

In a bid to rid the region of the anarchists, local Arab leaders approached representatives of the Jewish community in Hevron – a rare, but not unheard of occurrence – in order to find a solution. ..... The left-wing activists would then be informed by the local Arab population that they appreciate their offer to help, but that they are no longer needed.

Basically warring Jews and Arabs teamed up and the decadents were told to leave. And to not come back.
