Police protection for threatened aeldermen

Multiculturalism and its champions

Most Western countries are under the spell of the multicultural ideology. Particularly the left-wing parties push this ideology. Critics of multicultural society and its ideology are attacked and pictured as the cause of any conflicts between minorities and Westerners.

The champion of multiculturalism splinter

It is therefore particularly interesting to see an organisation which is a champion of multiculturalism become a victim of ethnic conflict. In the Rotterdam borough of Feijenoord the multiculturalist idyll is in deep trouble. The local (PvdA) Labour faction in the borough council is splitting along ethnic lines. Violence is in the air.

The setting: Feijenoord

The Feijenoord neighbourhood has 70,000 inhabitants with a high percentage of those of immigrant origin. In the 2006 municipal election the Labour Party recovered a lot of the seats that had been lost to the local Fortuynist Party Leefbaar Rotterdam (LR). They got 14 of 21 seats in the borough council. Six of the fourteen are of Turkish origin.

Dutchmen in charge of Labour or not?

The executive of the Feijenoord Labour party went to three Dutchmen. On 4 May 2006 a former Labour party executive, Mr. Johan Henderson, insisted that there were constant conflicts within the Labour party and that the conflict had an ethnic dimension. He suggested that the conflict could be solved if the Turks in Feijenoord would be represented by a Labour Party Turk in the borough council. And indeed, a Gülami Yesildal was appointed as a fourth member of the executive of the Feijenoord council. In October 2007 a new scuffle broke out when a Dutch council member insisted that the Turkish councillors should speak Dutch amongst each other rather than Turkish.

Conflicts persist

In 2008 two of the Labour executives had to step down as a result of conflicts, one Dutch and the other the Turkish aelderman Yesildal. In interviews with local press they spoke darkly of "nepotism" and "a sickness in the Labour Party in Feijenoord".

The current troubles

In December 2009 the simmering conflicts exploded. Usually party meetings are decided by a few core members, who turn up at all the meetings. Eighty to ninety percent of the party members are dormant. A Labour Party meeting was stacked with lots of Turkish Labour members who had never before attended any meetings. Seven Turkish and a Dutch member were promoted to the top of the list. The Dutch member, René Kronenberg, became the new local Labour leader.

Several of the demoted party members and their supporters were furious. A demoted Labour Party cadre said:
This was like a CPN - Dutch Communist Party - take over.
A Labour Party member, Jo den Haan, said
I do not want to be a part of this anymore. It is not about the public interest anymore. When I see stuff like this I think Wilders is right after all
Mr. Den Haan left the Labour Party. Many other members of the Feijenoord Labour Party have ended their membership.

Violence in the air

On 30 January tensions had run up so high that three former aeldermen felt compelled to request police protection. They feared for a threat against their safety from the Turkish Labour members. They mention intimidating looks and e-mails. The customs of Anatolia have settled in The Netherlands. This was reported by the Algemeen Dagblad (AD), a Rotterdam newspaper.

Rotterdam, The Color of Crime

Non-discrimination as the highest principle

There is a remarkable correlation between crime and ethnic the origin of criminals. It is necessary for the elites of Western societies to see this and to steer society in a direction that strengthens society, rather than weakening it. However Liberalism is the orthodoxy of the West. According to Traditionalist Conservative Laurence Auster the highest principle of Liberalism is the principle of non-discrimination.

This principle non-discrimination inhibits researchers from being able to see the most obvious patterns.

The color of crime in Rotterdam

Dutch Criminologist Frank Bovenkerk yesterday published figures on Crime and Ethnicity for Rotterdam (Dutch). Amongst other things Mr. Frank Bovenkerk found that:
55 percent of Rotterdam males between 18 and 24 years of Moroccan origin (Dutch) was at one or more times suspect of a crime. Caribbean Black have 40 percent and Turks 36 percent. Ethnic Dutch of the same age group have a whopping 18 percent quote.

The scope of the snapshot

Professor Bovenkerk notes that these figures are conservative as they are annual 2007 figures. Only Rotterdam does statistics in this way. Mr. Bovenkerk combined figuers from the Central Statistical Service (CBS) with police data in order map suspects from the first and second generation of immigrants. Further data including ethnicity from other social services are added.

Repeat offenders

According to the professor 90 percent of the Moroccan criminals is a repeat offender. For ethnic Dutch this is 60 percent. It is expected that a similar pattern is found in other major Dutch cities.

Persistent Liberalism syndrome

In an interview with `De Volkskrant` Professor Bovenkerk astoundingly insist there is no connection between crime and ethnic origin of criminals. He is against seeing crime as caused by ethnic origin and uses the word `stereotyping` to tar this approach. Instead he sees a correlation betweeen social organisation and crime. The Turkish ethnic group has the strongest social cohesion and the lowest crime figures. Apart from the Ethnic Dutch.

Non-discrimination rules supreme

And Professor Bovenkerk goes further. He is against a law that would gather add data on ethnicity in the crime stats. `In trying criminals according to the penal code the principle of equality should be paramount` says the Professor who is leaving the Utrecht University as a Professor of Criminology.

Amsterdam and Rotterdam lose Dutch Majority

The demographic trends in the big cities in Amsterdam

This week the news came out that Rotterdam will have a Dutch minority by 2012. Foreigners defined as with one parent born outside The Netherlands will outnumber ethnic Dutchmen. moreover ethnic Dutchmen are on average older than foreigners.

The paper version of the "Amsterdams Stadsblad" today May 6th, reported that Amsterdam will be minority Dutch by December 2009. Mr Marcel Janssen of the Research and Statistics Service (Dienst O en S) of the Amsterdam Municipality calculated: of the three main groups: Dutchmen, Western foreigners and Non-Western-foreigners there will be 49.9; 15.1 and 35 percent respectively.

No affordable family formation in the main urban areas

Marcel Janssen explains that young Ethnic Dutchmen come to Amsterdam to study and leave once they start having a family.

More stabbings at school!

Today another stabbing at school. Or well, near a school. It is the Accentcollege school in Rotterdam. The deputy-headmaster of the school was walking near the school with a 15 year old pupil, when they encountered another pupil. The pupils had a feud and got into a fight. A knife was pulled and the first pupil got injured. When the deputy-headmaster intervened she was stabbed as well. The incident took place at 11.00 in the morning.

Well, I am curious if there will be any further news.

The joys of immigration: stabbings on school

In Rotterdam a boy was knived at school, yesterday. A filmcrew was filming while it happened. Although nothing has been confirmed about the ethnicity of the people involved, it stands to reason that they were non-western immigrants.

Film of stabbing at Dutch school.

The relevant images are about 40 seconds into the film.

The stabbing was about a girl, who was hit by the victim. The girl asked her brother to get vengeance. The brother and more than 10 of his mates visited the school and attacked the victim.

After the stabbing there was a rumour that one of the attackers was hiding in the school. The police searched to school in full riot gear.

This level of "force protection" of the police is one of the typical aspects that result from immigration and the multicultural society. The police becomes a paramilitary force and loses the ability to communicate with the public in the way that was expected before mass immigration.

Conclusion: the multicultural society is inferior to the mono-ethnic, monocultural society that preceded it.

UPDATE1:
Today there was another stabbing of a pupil on a Dutch School. This time it was on a Amsterdam school, the Marcanti College on the Jan van Galenlaan. The location is Amsterdam-West. A 15 year old stabbed another 15 year old. Amsterdam-West is known a predominantly Muslim neighbourhood. The Non-Western element is very heavily represented amongst the pupils of the Marcanti college.

UPDATE2:
Two more stabbings on schoolpremises hit the news this week:
Yesterday on a school "ISW" in Naaldwijk. A 16 year old pupil was hurt with a pair of scissors.

Another pupil was hurt with a knife on school "De Lijgraaf" in Oss, today.

It is not clear whether these acts of violence are connected to clashes between or within Non-Dutch ethnics. It is a bit odd that these incidents suddenly surface after a film of a kniving is made in Rotterdam. Have the media been surpressing this kind of news? Where they framing the news?

Or are they framing the news again, by finding Ethnic Dutch incidents? After all the way to make ethnic minorities look good when they look bad is by dragging Westerners down to the minority level.

As Mr. Laurence Auster of View From the Right puts it: "Auster's First Law of Majority/Minority Relations in Liberal Society: The more egregiously any non-Western or non-white group behaves, the more evil whites are made to appear for noticing and drawing rational conclusions about that group's bad behavior.

The First Law and its corrolary are intrinsic to liberalism. Once the equality of all human groups is accepted as a given, any facts that make a minority or foreign group seem worse than the majority native group must be either covered up or blamed on the majority."
