France talking to Hamas

France is holding low level talks with the new democratically elected Hamas government in Gaza (Hat Tip, Herr Winn).

It looks like most governments in the world will soon recognize the Hamas government. This will include the EU. I will bet the EU subsidies that keep the Palestinian government afloat will continue as well.

That makes paying taxes so much fun. Our politicians really know were to send our money. Much better than we do. Good thing too that the Palestinians will really respect us for it. And support us in the fight against radical Islam in The Netherlands.

Loveleyyyy!!!

Good grief. France has gone insane. There they are watching their culture and their cities being destroyed by Muslims, and they want to send money to Muslim Pals, who despise them. Where have I seen this before? Why, I believe Condi said they would make every effort to fund the Pals through "NGOs" that circumvent the wishes of the American people.

Yes, our politicians truly know how to spend our taxes. Who can find fault in their brilliance?

I think Europe is not realizing that Hamas is more than "just a terrorist/freedom fighters" group. They're Islamists. They want Palestine/Israel to be under Sharia law. This is the same law that executes converts to Christianity.

I don't understand this issue of "isolation" as such. Europe, the US and Israel made a mistake when they let Hamas run in the elections. They should be aware that even now, every step they take to "accept" the Palestinian "popular decision" is another step backwards for democracy throughout the region.

It is not a matter of ignoring Hamas. It's a matter of understanding what Hamas is.

Europe seems to be saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

A brilliant Italian woman and her view on Islam in Europe.

I found this article in the LA weekly.:

The Force of Reason, the controversial Italian journalist and novelist Oriana Fallaci illuminates one of the central enigmas of our time. How did Europe become home to an estimated 20 million Muslims in a mere three decades?

How did Islam go from being a virtual non-factor to a religion that threatens the preeminence of Christianity on the Continent? How could the most popular name for a baby boy in Brussels possibly be Mohammed?

Snouck:
what do you mean "issue of isolation"?

Who is the enemy then?

The EU is dead anyway. It will die in 10 years.
