Australian town hit by cyclone

The Australian town of Innisfail was hit by a Cyclone. The population responded by: rioting, sniping at rescuers, looting and causing general mayhem?

No.

But even he (the Mayor) was amazed at the spirit and energy of a community that refused to blink when confronted with a category-five cyclone. He said many had waded straight outside into the wreckage with chainsaws.

What is wrong with these people?

Well we know who was raping and looting as well as causing mayhem in the aftermath of Katrina, I am not sure about Australia.

BTW, The Netherlands was one of the first people to offer help and came to see the damage of Katrina.

Our government says the U.S. could learn alot from the Dutch on Dams and water containment. I agree.
