Breaking-up opponent's political meetings is a method used by the German National Socialists to intimidate their opponents. Nobody disturbed the violent demonstration of the anti-cartoon Muslims. Not the police. Not the anti-fascists. But the peaceful FOS demonstration WAS disturbed.

I think Churchill was quite prescient. Though one thing I am uncertain of is with the term fascism and how it is used in Europe. We need to not mix words/labels because it only adds confusion. I always that Fascism was a right totalitarian ideology like Mussolini and Hitler's regimes. Is that not the meaning? Or is it used as any totalitarian regime, right or left? I think these so-called "anti-fascists" want to designate themselves as "anti-Hitlers" and use the term contextually appropriate. I always refer to them as intolero-leftists or Marxists, which is more accurate in their ideology. They surely are fanatical and "fascist" in their behaviour as well, for sure.
